![]() ![]() Speaking first hand it will take devs who took that lazy approach over a whole year to recover the lost time and get the hang of VR. I can guarantee that any dev who has not taken the time to be fully ready for VR in the DK1/2 stages will deeply regret their poor planning. The whole point of the DK2 in the first place is to get a head start and have your game showtime ready when comes CV1. While #3 is sort of correct, Codemasters will not have VR support if they wait for CV1. They only need to make it work for the consumer version to be able to say "OR support". Even if Codemasters says the game will have Oculus Rift support, they're not in any way obliged to release 100% support for every developer kit that comes along, as it would be a waste of time. Oculus Rifts are still only developer kits. It's early access, if everything worked perfectly fine, it wouldn't be an early access game.ģ. The game doesn't really officially have rift support yet, there's not even a VR tag on store page.Ģ. i mean, didn't the developers or testers notice that the cockpit was the size of the room they're in? 1. this scale issue is not acceptable anymore when a game says "rift support".
